 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains at the beginning of trading, supported by Arab and foreign institutions and investment funds' purchases.
The market capital gained about EGP 8.1 billion to reach EGP 937.1 billion against EGP 929 billion 5/3/2018. The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 1.06 percent to close at 15,961.33 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased 0.58 percent to 880.36 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose 0.83 percent to stand at 2,149.60 points. |
