The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) launched a project to improve the maritime transport system in the Mediterranean region.
The five-year project aims at providing training and transferring knowledge to more than 1,000 employees working in the transport and logistics sector in seven countries, namely Egypt, Algeria, Jordan, Italy, Morocco, Spain and Tunisia. It will also contribute to establishing a sustainable network of infrastructure in the transport field in the Euro-Mediterranean region. The UfM made the announcement during a conference in Ismailia governorate under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. |
