Egypt and Sudan concluded the 10th session of their Joint Committee on Land Crossings in Khartoum.
The two-day meetings were co-chaired by Egypt's investment and international cooperation ministry undersecretary Fathi Abdel-Azim and his counterpart of Sudan's foreign ministry Abdel-Ghani el-Naem. Abdel-Azim told MENA that the two sides agreed to held a major investment conference at their joint border crossings HQ to promote investment partnerships. The two countries agreed to solve obstacles facing the operation of the two crossings, Ashket-Qostol and Arqin, the Egyptian official said. The two sides agreed not to impose any fees on Egyptian and Sudanese citizens, except in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in both countries, he added. |
