The ministries of Military Production and Social Solidarity signed a cooperation protocol to establish drug rehabilitation centers.
Military Production Minister Mohammed Saeed el Assar along with Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali inked a protocol on cooperation between their ministries in different fields. Assar and Wali witnessed signing a cooperation protocol between the National Organization For Military Production and the Addiction Treatment and Abuse Fund. Under the protocol, military production companies will submit the designs of the project to establish drug treatments centers across the state, Assar said . He underlined the necessity of rallying efforts of executive bodies, state institutions, civil society organizations as well as all segments of the society in face of drug addiction. Fighting drug addiction is not less important than fighting terrorism and other challenges Egypt, Assar added. Wal, for her part, pointed out to the notable increase in the number of beneficiaries form the drug abuse hotline which requires establishing more treatment centers to accommodate abusers. |
