Minister of Public Business Sector Khalid Badawi reviewed with the board of the Cotton & Textile Industries Holding Company a restructuring blueprint for the corporation’s subsidiaries.
Badawi said the kick-start in the restructuring plan lies in cotton cultivation, stressing the importance of coordination with the Agriculture Ministry on this regard. The minister directed the board to work on administrative improvements and merge subsidiaries that carry out similar operations, while preserving the worker’s rights and honing their skills through efficient training programs. He also reviewed a plan for using the unutilized assets in financing the development plan and repaying debts |
