The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACCI, in collaboration with the Kuwait Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, organised a Ramadan Majlis in the presence of Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the ACCI, and Diab Al Rashidi, Consul General of Kuwait.
This reflected the Chamber’s keenness to strengthen frameworks of joint economic cooperation and explore available investment opportunities. The majlis was held at Kahraman Tent in Al Zorah, Ajman, in the presence of Ghalib Khalifa Al Muhairi, Board Member of Ajman Chamber; Mohammed Ali Al Janahi, Acting Director-General of Ajman Chamber; Nasser Al Dhafri, Executive Director of Planning and Members Support at Ajman Chamber; Lama Jassim Bursali, Chairwoman of the Kuwait Business Council, and a employees from both sides. During the majlis, Al Muwaiji praised the importance of these friendly meetings, which help to expand joint economic cooperation between the UAE and Kuwait, reiterating the strength of the historic and distinctive relations between the two counties. "The emirate of Ajman possesses a wide range of investment opportunities that are available for all businessmen and investors, alongside the facilities and all means of support that it provides for them," Al Muwaiji said. He stressed the keenness of the authorities in Ajman to provide an attractive business environment that meets the aspirations of the businessmen and translates the vision of H.H. Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and H.H. Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. He further commended the efforts of the Kuwaiti Business Council to connect the Kuwaiti business community with the UAE, in general, and the emirate of Ajman, in particular. This contributes to increasing the number of direct and joint meetings, easing communications between businessmen, sharing experiences and building partnerships, he added. Al Muwaiji also stressed the importance of participating in various economic exhibitions of the two parties to expand the cooperation and increase investment opportunities in various fields, such as education, health and other sectors. He called for joint efforts to push forward the trade exchange and the need to keep abreast of the various developments in the economic sector. Meanwhile, Diab Al Rashidi, Consul General of Kuwait, thanked the Ajman Chamber for organising the joint Ramadan Majlis, emphasising the strong relationship between Kuwait and Ajman. |
