Deputy Chairman of Egyptian National Railways (ENR) for Infrastructure Sector Magdy el Sabag inspected Friday train stations in Upper Egypt, including Samalut station and a number of level crossings.
During his inspection of Samalut station, he said that the station is under development as part 24 other stations in Upper Egypt, at a cost of EGP 67 million. The project is carried out in tandem with the rail signaling project in Assuit and Beni Suef, he added. He stressed the need for the company implementing the projects to meet the completion deadline. |
