The general assembly of the Arab Investment Bank (AIBK) convened under Minister of Planning, Follow-Up and Administrative Reform Hala el Saeed.
The get-together comes upon Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli's decision on authorizing the planning minister to preside over the bank's ordinary and extraordinary meetings.
At the beginning of the meeting, Saeed thanked AIBK Chairman Hani Seif el Nasr for the unique achievements attained via developing and upgrading the activities of the financial institution. Seif el Nasr underlined that the bank managed to surpass challenges over the past years. He reviewed the report of the board of directors on the bank's activities in 2017. He further pointed out to the tough decisions and challenges witnessed during 2017 when the economic reform policies were implemented, adding that the AIBK managed to achieve the difficult equation of increasing production and using the provided resources besides expansion and attaining growth. There has been a labor reshuffle in the bank via honing the skills of the employees at all levels in order to achieve sustainable development for the bank, Seif el Nasr asserted, noting that the small and medium enterprises are among the priorities of the financial institution. |
