Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker discussed with a mission of the Japanese Bank for International Cooperation boosting existing and future cooperation.
The minister lauded distinguished relations between the ministry and the Japanese bank. The bank's funding of power projects reflects a big confidence in the success of the electricity sector in running the bank-funded projects in Egypt, he said. Shaker talked about the big challenges that faced Egypt to provide energy to the local market over the past stage and how it managed to address them, especially repeated power outage. |
