Minister of Trade and Industry Amr Nassar said he will visit Greece in late October to represent Egypt at the third EU-Arab World Summit, to be held on October 29 in Athens.
Nassar made the remarks at his meeting with Greek Ambassador in Cairo Michael-Christos Diamessis, during which they discussed means of increasing fields of economic cooperation between Egypt and Greece in the coming stage in light of the current political momentum witnessed in bilateral relations. The Minister said in a statement that he is set to hold bilateral meetings with several senior officials of the Greek government on the sidelines of his visit to Athens. The statement noted that Nassar will also hold talks with officials of Greece’s trade and industry chambers and representatives of a number of firms that have shown interest in investing in Egypt. |
