Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has received a report from a cabinet’s technical team about the current status of ongoing service and development projects in Port Said governorate.
The report was compiled after field visits made by the team to the Canal governorate upon directives from the premier.. For two days, the team paid field visits to inspect 67 ongoing projects in the coastal city, said the report.. In this regard, the report noted that Port Said’s investment plan includes carrying out 177 projects in the current stage, of which 90 have already been completed.. In addition to this, Port Said is implementing 127 other projects in cooperation with neighboring governorates.. The team also held a meeting with the governor of Port Said in presence of senior municipal officials.. Port Said lies in north east Egypt along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, north of the Suez Canal, with an approximate population of 870 thousand. It was established in 1859 during the building of the Suez Canal. |
