Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Sameer Nass, received at Bait Al Tijjar recently the Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC), Dr. Sami Abdullah Al Abidi, who was accompanied by the Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Saud A. Almashari and a number of board members from the Council.
Nass welcomed the delegation and hailed the deep-rooted tie between the two brotherly countries under their wise leaderships, stressing the importance of joining Bahraini-Saudi efforts in stepping-up trade, partnerships, and investments. BCCI chief also called for the need to consolidate the representation of GCC Chambers in Arab and foreign chambers. Dr. Al Abidi gave a briefing about the development march of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the favourable investment policies, expressing keenness on collaborating with the BCCI, and underlined the importance of sharing studies and market data. The meeting also discussed strategies for entering foreign markets, the importance of empowering Small and Medium Enterprises, and collaboration in holding and participating in major business events. Present at the meeting were BCCI’s First Vice-Chairman Mr. Khalid Najibi, Treasurer Mr. Aref Hejris, and board members Mr. Khalid Al Zayani, Dr. Waheeb Al Khaja, Mr. Abdulhakeem Al Shemeri, Mr. Ahmed Al Saloom, and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Shaker Al Shater. |
