Thanks to its status as a pioneer in eGovernment, is transforming rapidly into a knowledge economy, thanks to the vision of the leadership which has been a driving force behind the tremendous strides witnessed by the Kingdom in the eGovernment arena.
This was stated by Shaikh Hisham bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital on the sidelines of the ninth edition of Bahrain International eGovernment Forum and IT Expo 2018 “Bahrain being the pioneer in the eGovernment services and the Vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy prime Minister, to include this segment as one of the core pillars of the national strategy have helped in yielding positive results as almost all Government services are now available online,” Shaikh Hisham said. "The online services are secure, efficient, time saving and reliable and all segments of the public and private sector are switching to online services, paving the way for transformation to a Knowledge economy." |
