Egypt's trade volume during the period from January to September 2018 hit dlrs 67.63 billion compared with dlrs 59.82 billion during the same period of the previous year, recording a rise of 13 percent.
A statement released by the General Organization for Import and Export Control (GOEIC), a copy of which received by MENA, said Egypt's non-petroleum exports during the first nine months of the year reached dlrs 15.514 million compared with dlrs 16.605 million during the same period of the previous year, recording a rise of 11 percent. The report said exports during September 2018 rose by 20 percent to hit dlrs 1.933 billion compared with dlrs 1.613 billion during the same month of the last year. Imports recorded a drawback by 13 percent to reach dlrs 4.206 billion compared with dlrs 4.860 billion during September of 2017. |
