Prime Minister Omar al-Razzaz said that all ministries, official entities and public institutions should not submit requests for the purchase of furniture, supplies or other equipment unless the Finance Ministry decides whether needed funds are available in the general budget law.
The move is part of the governmet's austerity strategy, and is meant to control the purchase of furniture, appliances and other supplies and ensure that the general Budget would not incur additional deficit. |
