Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram said the Egypt Property Show is the first and largest Egyptian real estate exhibition, describing it as a new window for Egypt’s property market in Europe.
The minister’s remarks were made at a reception ceremony hosted by Egyptian Ambassador to the UK Tarek Adel for City Edge Developments company on the sidelines of the Egypt Property Show, to kick off later in the day in London. Organized under the auspices of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, the event is set to be attended by a large number of Egyptian expatriates and British businessmen. In a prepared speech, Madbouli expressed happiness at the start of the first Egyptian property show in Europe, pointing out to the growth witnessed in Egypt’s real estate market in view of mega development projects being carried out in all governorates. The government, represented in the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities as well as many leading real estate development companies, have taken steps to launch an initiative to promote Egyptian property abroad, the premier said. Meanwhile, the immigration minister noted that the Egypt Property Show includes all national projects carried out by the Ministry of Housing within the framework of the State’s development plan in new cities, such as the New Administrative Capital, New Alamein City and New Mansoura City. |
