Cairo International Exhibition and Conference on Telecommunication and Information Technology (ICT 2018) will kick off at Egypt International Exhibitions Center under the slogan Driving Transformation.
The exhibition space has increased 50 per cent compared to last year, which has contributed to a 50 per cent increase in the number of exhibitors, said Osama Kamal, the Chief Executive Officer of Trade Fair Corporation, which organizes the event. He underlined the importance of digital transformation in light of the Egyptian government's approach of mechanizing all services extended to the public. Also, the government is working to upgrade all State sectors using modern technology, he added. Three conferences will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition; namely the Governments Summit on Digital Transformation and the International Exhibition and Conference on Transport Technology along with the International Exhibition and Conference on Education. Participating in the events are several African countries such as Ethiopia, Uganda, Zambia, Côte d'Ivoire, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal and Kenya, he added. |
