Belarus Minister of Trade Vladimir Koltovich said his country is looking forward to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s visit to his country, during which he would sign a road map for cooperation between the two countries.
The minister made the remarks during his meeting on Friday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli to discuss means of boosting bilateral cooperation, cabinet spokesman Nader Saad said. During the meeting Koltovich praised the investment atmosphere in Egypt and the legislative reforms taken by the government, topped by the passing of investment law no. 72/2017, which he said has encouraged Belarus companies to invest in Egypt. Meanwhile, the prime minister said Cairo is looking forward to benefiting from Belarus’s expertise in the field of establishing and developing technological zones. Madbouli noted that Egypt is also willing to cooperate with Belarus in the field of manufacturing and exporting medical drugs and equipment, especially in light of Cairo's experience in the treatment of Hepatitis C. |
