Ugandan Vice President Edward Sekandi honored Egypt's Arab Contractors Company as the best contracting company in Uganda in 2018.
The move came in appreciation of the company's commitment to international standards while accomplishing several development projects in Uganda. Arab Contractors Company Chairman Mohsen Salah said the honoring crowns the great interest of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in promoting ties with African states. He underlined that the company enjoys a very good reputation in Africa. Head of the Arab Contractors' African department Ibrahim Mabrouk said the company is upgrading the Masaka–Bukakata Road in southern Uganda at dlrs 54 million.
