Nassar asserted that the Egyptian economic and trade policy aims at boosting cooperation with all the COMESA member states and handling different files with clarity and transparency to achieve common interest. He backed the proposal of establishing a new headquarters for COMESA to enable it to live up to its important role in supporting regional integration between the countries in Eastern and Southern Africa.

The meeting reviewed Egypt's hosting of the meeting of the heads of civil aviation authorities of the COMESA member states on December 19-20, Nassar said.
