 The Egyptian Exchange achieved strong gains at the close of trading amid purchases by Egyptian and foreign institutions and investment funds.
The market capital gained at the close of today's trading a sum of EGP 7.2 billion, to stand at EGP 749.2 billion amid transactions worth EGP 992 million. The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 1.72% to close at 13,215.4 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.71% to 677.63 points, while the broader index EGX-100 went up by 0.83% to reach 1,700.59 points. |
