Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed el Assar discussed with Estonian Ambassador in Cairo Sander Soone means of bolstering Egypt-Estonia cooperation in the fields of military and civil industries.
During the meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters in Cairo, the two sides discussed the latest developments with regard to the e-ticketing system that aims to secure the return of football fans to stadiums via partnership among the National Organization for Military Production, Falcon Security Company and an Estonian company specialized in the security field. The partnership is established in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Interior and the Egyptian Football Association. The Estonian ambassador asserted the Estonian government’s keenness to assist Egypt in the e-ticketing system should it be chosen to host the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, to be held in June and July. Soone also lauded the success achieved by EDEX 2018 defense expo, which has been organized for the first time in Egypt. |
