An Egyptian parliamentary delegation, led by MP Ahmed el Seginy, discussed in a meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry means of cementing bilateral cooperation, doubling the volume of trade exchange and increasing the number of Ukrainian tourists visiting Egypt.
During the meeting, the two sides asserted the importance of boosting the number of tourist groups flocking to South Sinai, MP Ahmed el Seginy, who chairs the Egyptian-Ukrainian Parliamentary Friendship Association, said in a press statement. Also, the two parties probed the possibility for investing in the industry of iron and steel, and the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) area, as well as the 1.5-million- feddan agricultural project, el Seginy added. They touched on cooperation agreements signed between Cairo and Kiev during the joint Egyptian-Ukrainian committee's meeting in October to shore up bilateral economic ties in the areas of education and agriculture, he noted |
