Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait said that his ministry is working on preparing a new public finance bill as part of a number of regulations it plans to introduce in 2019.
Maait’s remarks came during his meeting with the House of Representatives’ planning and budget committee. The new bill is expected to improve the state’s current audit system to cope with global standards, Maait said. He said that the finance ministry will refer to the House several bills, including a bill on the customs and another on the state’s budget. |
