The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced an increase in bank deposits by around EGP 65 billion by the end of November to reach 3.761 trillion pounds, compared to 3.696 trillion in October.
The total governmental deposits with banks reached EGP 602.2 billion, including 490.2 billion in local currency and around 112 billion in foreign currency, the CBE said in a report. The total non-governmental deposits with banks until November hit EGP 3.159 trillion compared to 3.142 trillion in October, added the CBE in its report. |
