Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli will inaugurate Egypt Petroleum Show "EGYPS 2019" on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi at Cairo International Convention & Exhibition Center, Petroleum Minister Tarek el Molla said.
A number of Arab and African petroleum ministers along with officials of major international and regional organizations operating in the field of petroleum will take part in the event due on February 11-13, he said. In a statement on Sunday, Molla said that the event, which is held under the theme "North Africa and the Mediterranean: Delivering the Energy Needs of Tomorrow," will provide a great opportunity to be acquainted with Egypt's potentials in the field of oil and gas industry. The main topics to be discussed at the conference are E&P Geoscience (GEO), Gas Processing Technology and Operations (GPTO), Gas to Power Generation Technology and Operations (PGTO), Operational Excellence, Maintenance and HSE (OEMH), Oil, Gas and Unconventional Field Developments (OGUFD), Offshore Technology and Operations (OTO), Downstream: Refining, Technology, Operations and Marketing (DRTOM), Drilling and Completions (DC), Project Management, Engineering Technology and Implementation (PMETI), Artificial Intelligence and Connected Performance Technology and Services (AICPTS) and Downstream: Petrochemicals Technology, Operations (DPTO). According to its brochure, EGYPS 2019 brings together Egyptian and North African government representatives, key project owners, NOCs and IOCs, International Service Providers & Engineering, Procurement & Construction Companies, EPC contractors, consultants and financiers to address the evolving opportunities in the Egyptian and North African energy arena. |
