 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains backed by purchases of domestic institutions and investment funds.
The market capital gained EGP 10.3 billion to reach EGP 837.8 billion amid transactions that hit EGP 1.5 billion. The EGX 30 benchmark index increased 1.43 percent, recording 15,198.89 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) rose 1.14 percent, closing at 720.55 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index also went up by 1.2 percent, settling at 1,820.26 points. |
