On behalf of Egypt’s Premier Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Trade and Industry Amr Nassar opened the fourth Egypt Investment Forum, organized in Cairo by the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce in cooperation the Union of Arab Chambers.
Held under the title “Together for Africa,” the two-day event brings together a host of government officials and investors from across the globe, as well as representatives of regional and international financial institutions. “The forum coincides with Egypt’s chairing of the African Union and aims to send a message that the country is making headways towards economic integration with the African Continent,” Nassar noted in his speech. The conference, he added, focuses on a number of key issues, including: the recent developments in Egypt’s business environment, investment opportunities in its mega projects, as well as the sectors of electricity, and new and renewable energy; in addition to Egyptian-Arab-African-European cooperation. |
