A delegation of 23 Egyptian companies, organized by the Export Development Authority (EDA), are taking part in the 19th Xiamen Stone Fair Exhibition, an annual international expo of stone and stone processing held in China on March 6–9.
Being the world’s leading stone expo, the fair displays the latest products, technologies and equipment in the business, and creates business opportunities; in the aim of promoting the stone industry and increasing its global trade volume. “China is one of the key players in this sector and the largest importer of Egyptian marble and granite,” Khaled Youssef, head of the EDA said, noting that the world’s second largest economy received 50% of Egypt’s total stone exports in 2018. |
