The Ministry of Finance and National economy (MOFNE) in cooperation with the National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) held five intensive VAT training workshops for public sector professionals who use the public central financial system of payments and purchases.
The training workshops, attended by 48 government agencies, provided an introduction on the updated system focusing on the mechanism of applying VAT on the central financial system of payments and purchases Following a question-and-answer session, a short video was then played illustrating examples regarding how VAT should be recorded. The video will be uploaded on the central financing system online, ensuring government employees have access to the detailed information and visuals regarding VAT technicalities covered in the workshops.
