Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) has all development factors to become a global region.
The premier concluded his tour in the zone in the presence of SCZone Chairman Mohab Mamish, Minister Investment and International Cooperation Sarah Nasr and Minister of Housing Asem El Gazzar. It is planned that the southern zone will include heavy industries, while light and medium industries are set to be in the northern part, Madbouli said. The premier added that the message meant to be convoyed by the state is to support the private sector after provision of infrastructure and establishment of factories in the zone to create job openings and achieve economic and investment leap. Mamish said that Madbouli’s tour will initiate future development plans in the zone after carrying out major roads and railways projects there. |
