Kuwaiti Minister of Finance Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf will attend the annual Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, DC, between 8 to 14 of this month to discuss issues of global concern, including global economic prospects, poverty eradication and economic development.
The Ministry of Finance said in a press statement Tuesday evening that the minister is scheduled to hold on the sidelines of the gatherings a number of meetings with a group of international financial institutions to become acquainted with the latest economic developments in the world. It added that the minister will also meet with officials tasked with reviewing Kuwait Program at the World Bank to get to know about the latest developments of studies the bank is conducting on Kuwait. |
