Sweden’s State Secretary to the Minister for Foreign Trade Niklas Johansson said his country aims to promote cooperation with Egypt in the field of electricity and renewable energy.
He made his statements at a meeting with Electricity and Renewable Energy Minister Mohamed Shaker and representatives of Swedish companies operating in energy in the presence of Sweden ambassador in Cairo, among others. Johansson reiterated that a number of financing institutions are willing to provide required funding for renewable energy sector and support the sector of electricity in Egypt under the state-of-the-art technology to meet the current and future needs. Shaker said Cairo and Stockholm have good relations, praising the effective participation of Sweden in electricity projects in Egypt. |
