 He met with Jordanian Prime Minister Omar Razzaz in the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, General Intelligence Service Director Abbas Kamel and Jordan’s Ambassador in Cairo Ali Al Ayed.
Sisi conveyed his greetings to Jordan’s King Abdullah II, praising the deeply-rooted strong ties between the two countries that should work together to enhance mutual cooperation to face common challenges, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said. Razzaz conveyed the greetings of the Jordanian King to Sisi, stressing that his country is keen on having ongoing coordination and intensive consultations with Egypt in light of Cairo’s pivotal role in the region. The meeting reviewed the bilateral ties, as Sisi lauded the efforts exerted by the foreign ministers of both countries who co-chaired the closing session of the Egyptian-Jordanian higher committee meetings, Radi said. Radi added that the meeting also touched upon the latest developments in the region, particularly the peace process in the Middle East and the Syrian crisis. |
