Egypt's Consul-General in Houston Khaled Rizk reviewed the state's recent economic developments, casting light on Egypt Vision 2030.
This came during a promotional symposium on the Egyptian economy, which was organized by the Egyptian Consulate in Houston in Texas, USA in cooperation with the Arab-American Cultural and Community Center (ACC) and the Schiller Institute. The event aimed at keeping those interested in Egypt's affairs updated on the latest economic and political developments at the national level. Rizk briefed the attendees on the progress on a number mega national projects, including under-construction projects in new industrial zones and the New Administrative Capital. He also talked about the remarkable advancement of the energy and renewable energy sectors. Shedding light on the latest updates in the national securities market and the new investment law, the diplomat touched upon the determinants and goals of Egypt's foreign policy, said a statement released by the foreign ministry. Brian Lantz, a researcher at the Schiller Institute, provided an outline of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), its positive impacts across the world as well as Egypt's efforts to establish a regional economic system beneficial to all parties. The Schiller Institute is an international political and economic think tank, with headquarters in Germany and the United States. |
