Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait said that Egypt’s comprehensive health insurance program is one of the fruits of the ambitious economic reforms that it has been implementing.
He noted while addressing reporters at a news conference held by his ministry on Thursday, that the national structural reform policies and measures that have been taken to strengthen the investment environment, are enabling the government to spend more on health, education, and improving living standard. Maait stressed that the Egyptian administration is very much keen on rendering the health insurance program successful to ensure that all Egyptians are provided with quality medical care. He praised efforts exerted by the government, especially the Health Ministry, to make such program successful and accessible. |
