 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted gains amounting to EGP 6.3 billion during this two-session week.
The market capital increased 0.9 percent, hitting EGP 752.5 billion, compared to EGP 746.2 billion last week, the EGX said in its weekly report . The EGX 30 benchmark index increased 0.81 percent, registering 14,295.13 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid cap enterprises (SMEs) jumped 1.73 percent, recording 540.03 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also up 1.19 percent, reaching 1,420.89 points. |
