Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli opened the Investor Services Center in Minya governorate.
Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and several state ministers accompanied the premier along with the governor of Minya and the chairman of the General Authority for Investments (GAFI). The premier hailed the center's role in saving investors' time and cutting red-tape. The center will provide investors with a full range of services including facilitating the obtaining of any approvals, permits or licences required to allocate land plots or start any business activity. It also will make financial, banking and funding services easily accessible to investors who will remain posted on any investment opportunities available in any sector or governorate by giving them access to the country's investment map. The center will serve 1,500 companies and 3,700 investors in Minya, Nasr said, noting that such centers, which are established as part of the state's investment climate reforms, employ representatives from more than 65 relevant state bodies. |
