Egypt doesn't face any problem in paying off its debts and external dues, affirmed the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Deputy Governor Rami Abulnaga.
All the dues are being paid back on time, Abulnaga added, noting that the Egyptian economy has become capable of yielding resources that can secure foreign currency. In statements to MENA on the fringe of Beltone Access conference that currently takes place in Dubai, the Abulnaga named that resources that secure foreign currency as the Suez Canal, tourism, exports, investments alongside successful reform measures. In August, the CBE announced that Egypt managed to pay off 25 billion dollars in debts and loan interests from March 2017 till March 2019. |
