Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said that the Egyptian government will offer investment incentives to attract US companies into the Egyptian market.
At a meeting with US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, he added that he hopes to meet US officials in Cairo for probing fields of joint cooperation. The two sides discussed trade relations between Egypt and the US and means of upgrading joint cooperation. Attending the meeting from the Egyptian side were the ministers of investment, finance and trade and the Egyptian ambassador here. The US secretary listened to an explanation from the Egyptian minister of finance about the new system of customs in Egypt and amendments into the customs law for facilitating trade exchange measures. Madbouli is currently visiting here to attend annual meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. |
