A delegation of Egyptian construction and power companies held a meeting with Djibouti's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Younes Ali Gedi.
They discussed means of boosting cooperation between the two countries in the fields of electricity, solar energy, infrastructure and housing. The visit is part of Egypt's ongoing support for Djibouti to face damage caused by the devastating floods in the eastern African country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement. Egypt's Ambassador to Djibouti Mohamed Mostafa Orfi said that the delegation prepared a study on the development needs of the African country. Egypt will continue its efforts in support of African nations to attain long-awaited development, he added. |
