Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired a meeting to follow up on a number of files pertaining to challenges facing investors and measures taken to ease the business of companies operating in the free zones.
Director of the National Center for Planning the US of State-Owned Lands Nasser Fawzi, Chief Executive Officer of the General Authority for Investment Mohamed Abdel Wahab attended the meeting. During the meeting, Mabdouli underlined the importance of continuing the follow-up of companies whose establishment measures have not yet been completed and support them to start operation. He also reviewed the special arrangements pertaining to organizing the Egyptian-Korean Business Forum ahead of the South Korean president's visit to Egypt. Meanwhile, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) reviewed the outcome of recent meetings held with representatives of stumbled companies in the free zones and the role of GAIFI in helping such companies to restart their businesses. The meeting also touched on a report on the achievements of a ministerial committee on settling investment disputes over the past period. |
