Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Gamal Negm said that a big international bank has contacted the CBE to obtain a license to enable it to work in Egypt.
In press statements on the sidelines of the annual Arab banking forum, Negm unveiled the CBE’s intention to issue plastic-made 10 pounds in line with the operation of the new CBE's printer at the New Administrative Capital. The official added that the new banks law is being discussed by the parliament’s economic committee. |
