Head of the Financial Regulatory Authority Mohamed Omran said that the prime minister issued a decision amending some rules of the regulation of the Capital Market Law.
In a statement, Omran pointed out that the amendment is the widest since the last one of November 2018 as it covered many aspects including rules related to real estate investment funds for enhancing their activities and easing up their investment in the real estate sector in Egypt. He added that the new amendment is also aimed at removing obstacles hampering the operation of these funds such as real estate registration problems. He pointed out that the new amendments are also aimed at encouraging private ownership funds through providing funding for projects implemented by these funds. |
