Minister of Transport Kamel el Wazir said there are directives from the political leadership for maximizing cooperation with the Egyptian and international private sectors in various transport projects.
Wazir made the remarks during his meeting with Belgian Ambassador in Cairo François Cornet, along with a delegation of the consortium of Hassan Allam Holding, Menarail, Vecturis and Transrep of Belgium. There is great interest in joint investment with the private sector in all transport sectors, including the railway system in Egypt that is witnessing great development, the minister said. He also pointed out to the promising opportunities available for partnership with the local and international private sectors in all railway sectors. |
