The CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Hossam Heiba discussed with a number of representatives of organizations and investment bodies as well as several UAE companies vistas of joint cooperation and investment chances in Egypt.
The meeting convened on the sidelines of the 12th session of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM2023). The meeting provided an important opportunity for probing horizons of joint cooperation and ways of fostering economic cooperation with investors, in addition to activating cooperation through economic integration projects between Egypt and UAE and petroleum storage ventures. The meeting also reviewed ways of scaling up factories in GAFI. Both sides agreed on organizing an Egyptian-UAE forum. The gathering probed as well the latest developments of the investment atmosphere in Egypt and the most important economic indexes and the measures taken by the government to set the stage for further doing business in the country in order to carry out strategic or national projects that would mainly contribute to attaining development. |
