Deputy Housing Minister Sayed Ismail had talks with Director of the KfW Development Bank in Egypt Dr. Bernd Siegfried and KfW Principal Portfolio Manager Enrico Spiller on the progress realized so far in underway projects - funded by the bank - for expanding water and sanitation services in villages being developed under the presidential initiative Decent Life.
The talks also tackled cooperation in future projects for water desalination and using various technological methods for water desalination through non-traditional renewable energy resources. This highlights the state's interest in the importance of partnership with the private sector, Ismail said. Ismail underlined the importance of training and up skilling workers in the sector in light of modern mechanisms used in this domain. He stressed that the state works on the optimal use of water and water treatment for certain purposes. |
