During his inauguration and inspection of several international companies operating in Egypt in the field of outsourcing services, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and his companions visited the shared services center of PepsiCo.
During his inspection tour, Madbouly listened to an explanation from the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of PepsiCo North Africa, Mohamed Shelbaya, who explained that the opening of the shared services center of PepsiCo in Egypt dates back to 2020, and it started operating with only 20 employees. Additionally, he pointed out that by the end of this year, the Company would have more than 460 employees in its Center in Egypt, including 7 different sectors: information technology, sales, human resources, marketing and consumer research, supply chain, procurement, and financial planning. During his presentation, Shelbaya added that the shared services center of PepsiCo in Cairo provides its services in English, French, and German, adding that the Center has more than 7000 employees in 7 countries; Poland, Russia, Spain, Mexico, India, China, and Egypt. Shelbaya also referred to the cooperation agreement signed between the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and PepsiCo Egypt, with the aim of expanding the operations of exporting outsourcing services, starting from the Company's regional service center in Egypt. |
