Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat asserted state's keenness on fostering a favorable business climate for investments in the information technology alongside encouraging international firms to set up centers in Egypt for exportation of digital services, with a view to creating further and diversified job opportunities and boosting Egypt's digital exports.
This came during a meeting with a delegation of VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions), under its Chief Technology Officer Scott Petty, to discuss the expansion plans of the company in Egypt. "Within the framework of Egypt's national digital strategy for development of the outsourcing industry, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is keen on simulating companies to invest in the exportation of the outsourcing services nationwide and adopting the remote work system," the minister said. Meanwhile, Petty said the Egyptian human cadres possess massive and competent potential that encourage the company to expand operations in Egypt. |
