Engineer Ismail Najdi, Chairman of Egypt’s Industrial Development Authority, announced that the upcoming few days will witness a surge in Turkey’s investments in Egypt to reach 2 billion and 63 million dollars.
Three Turkish projects in the sixth of October city with a total of LE380 million ($63 million) are to be studied, and are said to secure 2, 950 job opportunities. Accordingly, the final amount invested in Egypt rises by $63 million, to be 2 billion and 63 million dollars compared to only $2 billion in 2010. Notably, Prime Minister, Essam Sharaf met earlier with Turkish Ambassador in Cairo, Huseyin Avni Botsali, on Monday to discuss the operation of existing Turkish corporations in several sectors in Egypt. The Turkish diplomat expressed his country’s desire to boost investment in the Egyptian economy. |
